Train your dog to retrieve game birds and become a better hunting companion.

This multi-session course begins Saturday, June 27th, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM then continues on consecutive Tuesday evenings thru August 11th. The final class is a mentored pheasant hunt on Saturday, October 17. This is a “Train-The-Trainer” course designed to help you teach you and your dog to become better upland and waterfowl hunters.

During the course, you’ll learn how to teach your hunting retriever single retrieves of game birds, basic obedience and introduction to birds, gunfire and water. You’ll participate in a simulated duck hunt, mentored pheasant hunt, clean game
birds and enjoy a “game bird” dinner with your classmates! By the end of the course, you should have a basic foundation of skills necessary to continue training your retriever to hunt and retrieve upland and waterfowl game birds.
